Living the Rock & Roll Lifestyle

On Wednesday night I decided to release my inner rock chick, my friend and I had tickets to see welsh band The Blackout.  After a slight squabble with the bouncer I eventually managed to get myself a wristband and off to the bar! (Apparently being baby faced gets you nowhere!)

The liquid rooms is the teeniest venue ever, so it was pretty packed to the point where you could barley get through the door but I managed to squeeze myself through to the middle (bad idea, I completely forgot that mosh pits, heels and cider are never a good combination). The two support bands left that much of an impression on me that I can’t even remember who they where, all I can remember is that one of them sounded like a rubbish version of Gym Class Heroes back in Travie Mccoy’s Katy Perry lovin’ days. The Blackout however did not disappoint, although it has to be said that the crowd was pretty tame compared to what is has been every other time I’ve seen them that could have something to with the fact that everyone seemed to be there with their mum or dad, this made me feel really old and I’m only 20!

For all you lovelies I thought I’d leave you with an inside into my musical adventures. This is especially for Chelsea D who’s in preparation for her first ever rock show!
