Bloggers Block...

Hello readers – huge apologies from Flossy but I’ve been suffering from a combination of Blogger's Block and just being too damn busy!

I promise to make amends. It’s really been full on at work and at home - I just seem to be chasing my tail – I know it’s a poor excuse but May has just gone by in a flash. I’m hoping to have some R&R over the weekend and I’ll have lots of thoughts, opinions and views for you and get myself right back on track. I’m wondering if it’s because I’m not loving this summers trends and find myself more excited by the prospect of a new Louis Ghost Chair in smoke grey than a fluorescent, stripped, floral maxi skirt – not like me at all - I know.

So to continue with my homely theme, I’ve included a few of my favourite things from around my house –

 

Vivienne Westwood Tea Set

This takes pride of place in my kitchen – haven’t actually used it more for decoration.  Nor have I tried to eat the knitted cupcakes!

Lanvin Love Book and Pencils

I also have the pen to this set which I use all the time. I love the notebook and pencils – they are so cool. Alber Elvaz is such a brilliant illustrator as well as amazing designer.

Gold Buddha

Not really sure if this is a Buddha but it’s shiny black head makes me think of Buddha. I bought this at Barcelona Airport. It’s very calm and serene and sits welcoming people into my house. I might be materialistic but I’m spiritual too!

Zandra Rhodes Plate – I was given this by Zandra a very long time ago. It’s a limited edition No 23 of 100 so very precious. It has pride of place in my bathroom

John Rocha Crystal – I have several pieces of the beautiful black Waterford Crystal designed by John Rocha- this is one of my favourites.
